Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Seminar for the Adult/Adolescent Population
This 41.75 hour course prepares the RN with the minimum knowledge and skills to practice as a sexual assault nurse examiner. This is not a certification course; this course gives the foundational basics to begin practice. This course meets IAFN requirements and is a pre-requisite for board certification eligibility. Dates: Monday - Friday, September 13-17, 2021
Location: Advocate Aurora Sinai Medical Center, 945 N. 12th Street, Milwaukee
Fee: $100/participant

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the International Association of Forensic Nurses, an accredited provider by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Pediatric Course
This 40 hour course covers topics and concepts specific to the pediatric population and sexual violence. At this time, it is a requirement that attendees have completed an Adult/Adolescent class prior to enrolling, as evidence collection is not covered in this course.
